Sixt car hire is now offering an electric car for only 99 kroner per day. This electric car provides total freedom of movement at a low cost, to both the customer and the environment, which neither public transport or taxis can match. Copenhagen is known for being a leader in terms of climate and environment issues.

It even has a stated goal of becoming the world's first carbon-neutral capital by 2025. A major milestone along the way is to reduce 20% of its carbon dioxide output by 2015. To achieve this, the city must focus on sustainable transport options like electric cars because emissions from autos account for a major part of total carbon dioxide emissions.
